Job Description

We are seeking a dynamic and adaptable HR Generalist to join our team during a transformative period of organizational change. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in implementing HR strategies, providing tactical and administrative support, and offering on-site HR assistance to our Rancho Cordova office. The HR Generalist serves as a hands-on partner to the business, team member base and greater HR team regarding a variety of human resources related issues. They act as an employee champion and change agent, assessing and anticipating a variety of needs. The HR Generalist formulates partnerships across the HR function and the business to deliver value-added service that reflects the values and objectives of the organization. This role will be expected to maintain an effective level of business and financial acumen; as well as a deep understanding of short and long-term plans, and Solidigm’s culture and competition. This position is ideal for the candidate who is seeking an opportunity in a fast-paced start-up type environment, shifting seamlessly between strategic and tactical work across multiple HR functions.

Responsibilities:

  • Full HR Generalist responsibility for assigned US-based business group
  • HR Program Support and Management: Support the execution of HR programs – such as Annual Rewards, Performance Management, Engagement Survey, On/Off Boarding, etc by providing guidance to managers and team members.
  • Employee Relations: Serve as the first point of contact for team member concerns, providing guidance and resolution, while fostering a positive and inclusive work environment. Stay informed about local employment laws and regulations and ensure leadership practices are sound.
  • Data Management: Take an active role in managing data within HR systems (i.e., Workday), ensuring accuracy and completeness. Perform regular audits, data entry, troubleshoot issues, and contribute to the enhancement of HR processes through effective technology utilization.
  • Change Management Support: Collaborate with Business HR team to facilitate and implement change management initiatives, ensuring effective communication and support for team members during transitions.

Qualifications:


  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field, or combination of applicable education and experience.
  • 3-5 years of experience as an HR Generalist or in an HR related role
  • Comprehension of US employment law and ability to identify and escalate concerns.
  • Strong comprehension of HRIS platforms and MS Office/Excel - the ability to input data (as needed) pull/analyze reports, and communicate highlights.
  • Collaboration: Work across and connect the dots both within HR and the business to deliver HR initiatives. Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Develop and maintain trusted relationships with leaders to support their people goals.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, complex, and dynamic environment.
  • Proactive problem-solving and decision-making skills.
  • Self-Starter / Resourceful: Ability to connect with resources and engage when limited information or support is available.
  • Change resilience – ability to maintain a positive demeanor in the face of uncertainty.
