Iron Mountain is seeking a highly collaborative and service-oriented HR Generalist to join our HR Generalist team.
As our HR Generalist, you will be the architect of high-quality employee experiences across the North American region. Your goal is to move beyond basic administration and build a systematic, customer-centric HR engine that provides proactive support to People Leaders and employees, ensuring our HR operations move at the speed of business.
What You’ll DoIn this role, you will:
Architect the HR Service Delivery Experience. You will take ownership of escalated queries from Tier 1 & 2 through ServiceNow, acting as a high-level problem solver. You will manage the end-to-end documentation for the employee lifecycle, including drafting Promotion Letters, Contract Annexes, and managing critical platform access for the workforce.
Drive the Global Talent & Performance Engine. You will partner effectively with COEs to lead the execution of annual cycles, including Goal Setting, Performance Evaluations, and Mid-Year Reviews. You will turn data into action by leading the IM Listening (Climate Survey) action planning to improve organizational health.
Lead Regional Compliance and Training Standards. You will ensure the North American workforce remains compliant by overseeing Mandatory Training deployments and providing expert coaching on HR policies, laws, and government regulations. You will serve as the "guardrail" for the organization, ensuring all movements—from M&A to reorganizations—are executed with precision.
The ideal candidate will have:
5+ years of progressive experience in Human Resources with a proven track record in a Global Shared Service Center (SSC) environment.
Total English Fluency (Written & Spoken), with the ability to communicate with high influence across North American business lines.
Strong Technical Expertise in HR Systems, specifically professional proficiency in ServiceNow to manage cases and data insights effectively.
A "Collaborative & Curious" Mindset, possessing the agility to synthesize information across the HR function and the courage to push back when necessary to maintain standards.
North American HR Expertise, with a deep understanding of the regional landscape.
