Job SummaryIron Mountain is seeking an experienced, proactive, bilingual (English and Spanish) HR Generalist to join the HR Service Delivery team in LATAM.
This role performs Human Resources related duties at the professional level. You will be responsible for the implementation and execution of HR solutions tailored to local needs. The position supports multiple businesses in Mexico requiring strong proficiency in the region's regulation.
Key functional areas of responsibility will include mergers & acquisitions (M&A) , workforce transformation and reorganization , organization design , job level structuring , salary analysis , employment equity programs, and compliance.
What You'll DoIn this role, you will:
Lead the local execution of reorganizations and workforce transformation.
Provide support as part of M&A execution , including due diligence, and system, process, and people implications.
Take ownership of escalated queries from Tier 1 & 2 through ServiceNow cases.
Partner effectively with HRBPs, CoEs, and People Leaders, offering proactive support and proposing solutions for BAU (business as usual), organization transformation, or new initiatives.
Support and partner during annual CoE cycles (e.g., Goal Setting, Talent Management processes, and IM Listening action planning) , providing coaching, reporting, and data insights.
Partner with Compensation to conduct and implement salary surveys and perform salary analysis.
Address urgent employee and manager needs and provide people management coaching.
Conduct exit interviews , analyze data , and make recommendations for continuous improvement through organizational redesign, position leveling, and compensation analysis.
The ideal candidate will have:
5+ years progressive experience in HR required, with demonstrated functional knowledge.
Bachelor's degree required.
Experience supporting the Mexico market specifically.
Proven ability to work effectively in high-pressure, fast-paced situations that require sound decision making.
Strong analysis and problem-solving skills , able to carry out root cause analysis.
High degree of comfort with change , with the skill to easily shift priorities to meet business needs.
Full professional proficiency in Spanish and strong competency in English (desirable for communication in a matrixed organization).
Demonstrated experience of, and focus on, proactively managing customer relationships (managers and employees)
