About the Role

Village Roadshow (member of Antenna Group) is a leading entertainment brand, best known for its cinemas, delivering an unparalleled movie-going experience to over 3 million viewers annually. As we continue to expand our reach and enhance our services, we are looking for a highly organized, proactive, and hands-on HR Generalist to join our team for a 1-year maternity cover period.

The successful candidate will oversee and manage the daily execution of administrative, operational, and strategic tasks across the full employee lifecycle. This role requires an experienced professional who can act as a trusted point of contact for employees, manage labor law compliance, and support key HR processes, with the opportunity for contract renewal following a performance evaluation at the end of the term.

Key Responsibilities

  • Smoothly take over and manage daily HR operations, ensuring continuity across the full employee lifecycle during the coverage period.
  • Oversee and maintain accurate employee records, prepare employment contracts, and handle all necessary HR documentation.
  • Manage, update, and monitor information in the ERGANI system, ensuring strict compliance with Greek labor law requirements and company policies.
  • Lead the end-to-end recruitment process (job postings, CV screening, interviewing, and candidate communication) for various roles within the organization.
  • Coordinate and enhance the onboarding activities for new hires, as well as the offboarding processes, ensuring a seamless experience.
  • Handle routine and complex employee inquiries, acting as a reliable point of contact and ensuring timely, accurate, and empathetic responses.
  • Collaborate closely with the Payroll & Operations Supervisor and manage HR data entry to ensure accurate reporting and monthly payroll execution.
  • Support the design and organization of internal training sessions, company events, and employee engagement initiatives.
  • Prepare data-driven HR reports, presentations, and metrics for senior management.

Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or a related field (Master’s degree will be considered a plus).
  • Minimum 2–4 years of proven experience as an HR Generalist or in a similar comprehensive HR role.
  • Deep understanding of Greek labor law, payroll preparation support, and extensive hands-on experience with the ERGANI system.
  • Strong organizational, multitasking, and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, in both Greek and English.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (especially Excel and PowerPoint) and experience using Epsilon Net / Pylon would be a plus.
