Overview:
We are looking for an HR Generalist, based in Mumbai to support our India employee population. In this role, you will continue develop and broaden HR expertise across various disciplines. This position is ideal for a motivated HR professional looking to advance their HR career.
Responsibilities:
Core Responsibilities:

Develop and maintain policies, procedures, and guidelines for employee relations, including collective bargaining agreements, discipline, performance management, and dispute resolution.

Develop and maintain strong relationships with external stakeholders such as labor offices, government authorities, and legal counsel.

Collaborate with senior leadership to align HR strategies with overall business objectives and contribute to the organization’s success.

Coordinate & guide workforce planning, comp reviews, and onboarding processes to ensure the organization has the right talent in the right roles.

Lead and support organizational change initiatives, helping employees adapt to new processes and policies.

Utilize HR analytics to identify trends and make data-driven recommendations for improving HR strategies, compensation & benefits, policies, and processes.

Manage compensation and benefits programs, ensuring they are competitive and aligned with the organization’s objectives.

Coordinate & guide training and development programs to enhance employee skills and competencies in coordination with business.
Industrial Relations (IR)
-
Involves managing and maintaining positive employee relations within an organization which includes addressing employee concerns, handling labor disputes, developing effective employee engagement strategies, negotiating and administering collective bargaining agreements and/or maintaining positive relationships with employees, labor unions, and government authorities.
Employer-Employee Relations (ER)
-
Ensure compliance with labor laws, regulations, and industry standards, while mitigating HR-related risks.

Consult with line management and provide daily HR guidance.

Work closely with management and employees to improve work relationships, build morale and increase productivity and retention.

Resolve complex employee relations issues and address grievances.
-
Bring people expertise and develop solutions to help the business area to deliver its strategy.

Coach and provide feedback to key stakeholders to help improve business efficiency.

Foster a positive workplace culture that promotes employee engagement and satisfaction. Being a company culture and employee experience champion.

Coaching and consulting leadership about HR matters as & when required in consultation with HRG Lead.
Operational Assignments:
Conducting final round of interviews, when needed
End to End Onboarding Activity (First Day onboarding, Benefit enrollment, Compliance, filing & Payroll)
Observing & organizing Induction & Orientation.
Assisting & facilitating Entity Audit
End to End Separation Activity. (Benefit Cancellation, Compliance, filing & F&F)
Practicing & managing Analytical Reports as & when needed
Engagement Interests:
Participating in Event or CSR Committee

Qualifications:

Bachelor / Master's degree or equivalent experience in Business, Human Resources, or related area.

POSH certified, LLB with labor law exposure & great at Compliance Management.
-
15 years plus of relevant experience in HRG, ER /IR & HRBP (preferably worked with both white & blue collar).

Strong knowledge of HR principles, practices, and regulations.
-
Exceptional problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
-
Excellent mentoring and relationship building skills.
-
Good judgement, analytical and goal oriented.
-
Knowledgeable in Personnel Data & Document Management / Any other HR administration & operational task.
-
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
-
Good people management skills.
This role will be assigned on hybrid work setting.
