We are seeking a highly organised and proactive HR Expert People Operations (m/f/d) to join our Frankfurt office. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a fast-paced, international environment where you will provide essential HR support across the employee lifecycle. You will run the operational backbone of HR for our people across eight offices - contracts, onboarding and offboarding, payroll coordination, and our HR systems and data. DTCP is small enough that you will see the whole employee lifecycle rather than one slice of it and own your part of it end to end. You will report to the Manager People Operations and in addition, work closely with the Head of Strategy Office & Operations.
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES- Run the employee lifecycle end to end, from recruitment and offer management through onboarding, contractual changes, compensation and performance cycles, payroll coordination and offboarding, ensuring accurate documentation, HRIS updates and compliant handling of employee data
- Administer Personio as the firm’s HR system of record, ensuring employee data is accurate, complete, up to date and audit-ready across all entities
- Act as a first point of contact for HR queries, supporting employees and managers with day-to-day People matters and coordinating with external providers where required
- Prepare People reporting and workforce metrics, including headcount, recruitment, absence and other relevant data
- Support day-to-day HR compliance, including employment law, regulatory requirements, GDPR and internal policies, and flag changes to the Manager People Operations, General Counsel and external advisers for decision
- Maintain and improve People Operations processes, including clear process documentation, identifying opportunities to streamline and automate workflows through HR technology and AI tools
- Support audits, regulatory requests and broader People initiatives and work with global teams to implement best practices and harmonise processes across entities
Essential Attributes:
- Demonstrable experience in operational HR, HR shared services, or a comparable business-operations role (2+ years preferred)
- Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
- Strong communication skills in English (both written and spoken)
- Proactive, resourceful, and comfortable managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Strong digital aptitude and enthusiasm for leveraging new technologies to improve efficiency and productivity
- Legally authorized to work in Germany
- Discreetly handling confidential personal and compensation data, with sound judgment on what to escalate and when
- Practically familiar with Personio (HRIS) or a comparable HR information system, and confident in PowerPoint, Excel and Outlook
- Reliably knowledgeable about employment law, social security and payroll fundamentals
Preferred Attributes:
- Ideally experience in Private Equity, Venture Capital, consulting, finance or insurance sector
- Experience working in an international or multi-jurisdictional environment
- Technically curious about HR automation and AI tooling
- Additionally fluent in a further European language, particularly German
