We are seeking a HR Director, People & Culture to serve as a Business Partner to our global People & Culture function at NTT DATA, Inc.
This role is pivotal in shaping our People & Culture operating model and aligning our talent globally as we continue our transformation journey.
This strategic role involves orchestrating our People & Culture talent, structure, processes, and resources to support and implement the needs of the People & Culture function while fostering a collaborative and innovative team culture focused on operational excellence.
The HR Director, People & Culture contributes at a global business level to guide, develop, and drive People & Culture business results while also having a strong emphasis as an operational, hands-on People & Culture practitioner.
What you'll be doing
Key Responsibilities:
- Partners with People & Culture leadership to globally drive the unification of People & Culture practices and processes.
- Collaborates with People & Culture leadership to develop and implement an operating model that supports NTT DATA's business objectives.
- Integrates and streamlines HR functions such as talent management, career development, job architecture, and organizational design with People & Culture Centres of Excellence (COEs).
- Facilitates the function’s organizational design and optimal structures reflecting the current and evolving business strategy.
- Provide strategic People & Culture guidance and support to global People & Culture teams.
- Drives and supports change management initiatives to ensure smooth transitions and adoption of new People & Culture operating model, processes, and systems.
- Monitors and evaluates the effectiveness of People & Culture programs and initiatives, making data-driven recommendations for improvement.
- Manages the overall delivery of People & Culture services to our People & Culture community globally.
- Leads the analysis of employee feedback and data to create a better working environment and engaged culture across the People & Culture function.
- Ensures the execution of the performance management process and support People & Culture leaders through ongoing training, education, and role review.
- Provide leadership and support to the People & Culture team in their day-to-day activities.
Knowledge and Attributes:
- Significant knowledge of People & Culture best practices, trends, and strategies.
- Understanding of the company's industry, market dynamics, and key business drivers.
- Expertise in talent acquisition, development, and retention strategies.
- Knowledge of People & Culture laws, regulations, and compliance requirements.
- Proficiency in organizational design, culture development, and change management.
- Strong leadership skills to inspire and lead the People & Culture team.
- Strategic thinking and the ability to develop People & Culture strategies aligned with organizational objectives.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Sound judgment and decision-making abilities.
- Ability to build strong relationships with People & Culture leadership and teams.
- Resilience in navigating challenges and leading through uncertainty.
Academic Qualifications and Certifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a Human Resources or a related field.
Required Experience:
- Significant demonstrated experience in a similar role, preferably within a global IT organization.
- Progressive leadership and management experience in People & Culture roles within the technology services industry.
- Significant experience in employment law, compensation, organizational planning, development, employee relations, safety, training, and preventive labor relations.
- Significant experience in People & Culture systems and technology.
