About the Role
The HR Director Sales & Marketing Mexico has accountability for HR delivery in the country in compliance with Essity strategies, policies and practices and local legislation. In collaboration with their, the role ensures specialist HR support or services to business units operating in Mexico and ensures organizational efficiency and synergies as well as compliance with laws and regulations.

What You Will Do

Liaise with business unit HRs and provides agreed support to fulfil business unit and global HR process requirements

Agree with Business Unit HR management and liaises with Country management teams the HR services to relevant BU stakeholders, incl. allocating HR support resources for local management teams to ensure professional HR and to support both global/BU processes (e.g. Talent Management) and local initiatives

Secure HR services/support to local managers in all Business Units (e.g. recruitment, training, compensation and benefits, employment law) operating in Mexico and to contribute to global HR process delivery.

Secure expert advice in agreed areas.

Create a service culture to execute the service level agreement

Execute global and local process or policy delivery across business units and facilitates any interaction between business units to ensure equal treatment

Harmonize HR processes at country level, in-line with HR Global and business unit principles, policies and guidelines

Ensure Global HR Policies and local legal requirements are implemented.

Identifies and recommends solutions to meet local market needs in compliance with Essity’s HR governance and ensures compliance with local employment legislation (e.g. for employment contracts, disciplinary) and gives guidance to HR colleagues.

Manage a positive relationship with local union/employee representatives and leads information to, consultation with and/or negotiation with unions/works council at country level, if relevant

Supervise, coach and develop the HR organization in the country.
Who You Are

Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field.

At at least 10 years of a relevant generalist HR experience in Mexico. Having worked abroad would be a plus.

Background of working in international matrix organizations with the ability to network and coordinate effectively.

Strategic mindset and ability to set clear direction in a complex environment.

Capability to deal with conflicting priorities within a large organization.

Excellent communication and influencing skills.

Passion for people and culture.

Generalist HR experience within a plant or site environment would be an advantage.
