As an HR Data Analyst/Reporting and Analytics Analyst, you’ll be responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive HR reporting strategy that drives business performance and operational efficiency. Leveraging Workday and advanced analytics tools, you will deliver insightful reports, dashboards, and visualizations, enabling stakeholders to make data-driven decisions. What you’ll do

  • Develop and implement the HR reporting strategy to support business objectives and enhance operational efficiency.
  • Deliver accurate and timely HR reports, dashboards, and metrics to stakeholders.
  • Perform complex data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and insights related to workforce metrics, talent management, and organizational performance.
  • Utilize advanced statistical methods and predictive analytics to forecast HR trends and outcomes.
  • Manage and optimize Workday reporting capabilities to ensure accurate and meaningful HR data visualization and reporting.
  • Utilize Workday Prism for advanced data analysis, creating custom reports, and visualizations to support strategic HR initiatives.
  • Design and build Discovery Boards within Workday to facilitate self-service data exploration and visualization for HR stakeholders.
  • Create compelling data visualizations and presentations to effectively communicate findings and recommendations to senior management.
  • Collaborate with HR business partners, IT teams, and other departments to understand data needs and develop solutions to address them.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert on HR data and analytics, providing guidance and support to stakeholders across the organization.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement and automation within the HR reporting and analytics function.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in HR analytics, applying new methodologies and tools to enhance data-driven decision-making.

This might describe you

  • Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in HR reporting, analytics, or data analysis roles, with demonstrated leadership in managing reporting functions.
  • Experience with Workday reporting tools (Workday Prism, Discovery Boards) and advanced analytics techniques.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a deep understanding of statistical analysis and predictive modeling.
  • Proficiency in SQL, Excel, and data visualization tools
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex data insights to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Certification in HR technology (e.g., Workday HCM, Workday Prism)
  • Knowledge of machine learning techniques and applications in HR analytics.

  • This role can be worked from any U.S. remote location.
  • Familiarity with public company requirements, including Sarbanes Oxley and key regulations, if applicable. For SOX compliant roles, responsible for designing, executing, and documenting internal controls where they have been identified as owners to prevent errors in financial reporting, processes, and business operations. Including attestation to the completeness, accuracy, and compliance of all financial reporting data, where applicable.
