About the role
The HR Data Operations Specialist is responsible for managing a range of services in support of the Human Resources (HR) Operations function and ensuring global HR data is maintained in an accurate, compliant, and timely manner. This role serves as a key point of contact for employee lifecycle workflows and data management, supporting global and local processes from onboarding through to offboarding. The position operates independently and as part of a team, utilizing HR systems to resolve complex issues, generate data analytics, and champion digital transformation across multiple functions and countries.
Key Responsibilities
This position is a remote role based in Romania, with regular office days in Bucharest.
Maintain employment and personal information in the global HR information system (Oracle) and various local systems across multiple countries, supporting lifecycle event processing including onboarding, transfers, and offboarding.
Conduct regular data audits to identify and resolve discrepancies, duplicates, or missing information, ensuring high-quality data hygiene for payroll and audit purposes.
Respond to reports and data analytics requests from HRBP/COE teams or business leaders utilizing tools such as Oracle, ServiceNow, various time and payroll systems, Tableau, or other analytical applications.
Consult and guide employees, HR team members, and business managers on an array of HR-related needs, processes,within defined service level agreements (SLAs).
Participate on project teams to execute regional or global system updates, test new HRIS features, and drive continuous process optimization powered by technology.
Oversee HR administration for multiple EMEA countries, including the preparation of employment contracts and addenda.
Maintain and update, and provide support with multiple Time and Attendance systems across various EMEA countries.
Automate and streamline our processes and leverage technology to optimize our resources in the broader HR team to deliver exceptional services.
Qualifications
Required
Minimum of two to three (2-3) years of relevant work experience managing HR data within a regional or global HR Shared Service Organization or fast-paced corporate environment.
Experience with Core Human Capital Management (HCM) Data Management, with preferred knowledge of systems such as Oracle, ServiceNow, PeopleSoft, and time and attendance systems.
Proficiency in English speaking, reading, and writing, alongside strong interpersonal and written communication skills across all levels of the organization.
Strong working knowledge of standard productivity tools (Microsoft 365, Google Workspace or similar).
