We are looking for a hybrid HR Data Engineering & Analytics Manager to lead the technical evolution of our People data. For the first 12 months, your mission will be largely foundational: you will act as the primary architect and engineer, designing and building our first HR Data Warehouse.
Thereafter, you will transition from a heavy data engineering focus—solving complex integrations and building scalable pipelines—into a strategic analytics partner. You will help our HR teams leverage this robust foundation to make informed, data-driven decisions regarding our diverse workforce.
The Roadmap- Phase 1: Months 1–12: Focus on data architecture, pipeline development, and creating a "single source of truth".
- Phase 2: Months 12+: Transition toward advanced analytics, predictive modeling, and deep-dive workforce insights.
- Understand and map out the current HR data landscape.
- Build and maintain robust data pipelines to integrate various HR sources into a central repository.
- Create and review technical documentation, including data models, data dictionaries, architecture diagrams, and process and data flows, etc
- Collaborate with management, business partners, analysts, developers, architects, and engineers to support data quality efforts.
- Solve for complex data integrations across multiple systems.
- Develop and generate routine and ad-hoc reports on HR performance and key metrics.
- Design and build self-service dashboards that help leadership understand hiring trends, turnover, and engagement.
- Analyze data to identify trends, predict future needs, and uncover bottlenecks in HR processes.
- Partner with HR teams to promote data literacy, providing user guides and training for new analytics tools.
- 4–6 years of experience in Data Engineering, Data Warehousing, or People Analytics.
Must have
- Prior experience in building central data repositories by integrating multiple complex data sources
- Good proficiency in writing SQL, either in RDBMS (i.e. MySQL, PostgreSQL, etc) or OLAP (i.e. BigQuery, Redshift, Oracle, etc.)
- Ability to write robust and scalable code in Python or other scripting programming language
- Basic proficiency or experience in infrastructure setup using cloud services (i.e. AWS, GCP, Azure)
- Strong ability to explain complex technical architectures or data trends to non-technical HR stakeholders.
- Strong ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a dynamic environment
- Good communication skills in Bahasa and English (Written & Verbal)
- Capacity to apply discretion and maintain a high level of confidentiality when handling sensitive information
Good to have
- Exposure to AI tools and their application in HR is a bonus
- Knowledge of statistical analysis and predictive modeling
