The Role
The HR Coordinator will run the daily functions of the LA HR department including onboarding and HRIS and personnel file management. The hybrid role will support project-based work for all LA based HRBP Executives.
Responsibilities
Prepare paperwork, schedule, and facilitate smooth new hire onboarding process for LA office
employees coordinating with cross-functional departments to deliver an exceptional new hire
experience
Handle all administrative tasks for onboarding, new hire orientation, and exit interviews including entering data into HRIS, auditing for accuracy and compliance, including completing and verifying Form I-9
Provide operational support to HRBP Executives for accountable business units (i.e., WD report generation, organizational chart management, etc.)
Maintain all Employee Files, ensuring proper document storage
Handle employment-related inquiries from hourly employees, referring complex and/or sensitive matters to the appropriate person
Develop and execute positive employee relations initiatives; coordinate check-ins, employee engagement initiatives, workshops, etc.; foster and maintain quality relationships with all hourly employees by interacting and being available
Understand hourly employees career goals, their strengths and opportunities, and provide input on talent management conversations
Participate in communication planning for all hourly employees, including change management initiatives · Help conduct and organize learning and development initiatives for LA based business group
Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree preferred, or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience
Minimum 2 years of human resources experience in a corporate environment
Maintain knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in
human resources and talent management
Passionate about being of service, working collaboratively, and creating great experiences for
our employees
Extremely proactive and able to easily shift priorities
Ability to succeed in a fast paced, highly demanding, high volume, dynamic, corporate
environment
Detailed with strong organization skills
Team player with a high sense of urgency
Ability to interact with all levels of the organization
Location
This role is hybrid, based out of the Los Angeles office.
Compensation
The base hourly rate for this position is in the range of $28.00 - $31.00. This position also is eligible for benefits and discretionary bonus. Ultimately, wages may vary based upon, but not limited to, relevant experience, time in role, business sector, and geographic location, among other criteria.
