Compensation
The salary range for this position is $19.00 – $25.00 per hour, depending on experience, skills, and qualifications.
This position will be Temporary
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Coordinate and support full-cycle onboarding, including new hire paperwork, orientation, and system setup.
- Maintain employee personnel files and HRIS records ensuring accuracy and compliance.
- Assist with timekeeping, attendance tracking, and payroll support for hourly employees.
- Provide support with California meal and rest break compliance, wage and hour regulations, and labor law postings.
- Assist with workers’ compensation claims, return-to-work coordination in HRIS System, and injury documentation as a back-up for the EHS Safety Specialist / Manager.
- Support recruitment efforts, including posting job openings, scheduling interviews, and communicating with candidates
- Serve as a point of contact for employees regarding HR policies, benefits, and procedures.
- Translate HR communications and assist with employee interactions for Spanish-speaking employees.
- Assist with employee relations matters, investigations, and documentation as needed
- Maintain confidentiality of sensitive employee and company information.
- Support ITAR compliance requirements, including proper documentation and employment eligibility verification.
- Coordinate employee training, safety programs, and compliance documentation.
- Assist with audits and reporting related to HR compliance and regulatory requirements.
- Run daily / weekly reports needed
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Bilingual in English and Spanish (required)
- 2+ years of HR administrative or HR coordinator experience
- Experience working in manufacturing, aerospace, or industrial environments preferred
- Knowledge of California labor laws and wage and hour regulations
- Experience with HRIS systems, payroll support, and timekeeping systems
- Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to maintain confidential and sensitive information
- High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities
Work Environment
- Manufacturing / aerospace production environment
- Interaction with production employees, supervisors, and management
- Require to walk and support production floor following safety protocols
