Modivcare is looking for an experienced HR Coordinator II to join our team. In this role, you will provide general clerical and administrative support to the Human Resources department, ensuring a high level of service to internal stakeholders and employees across various HR processes.

This role…

  • Maintains employee confidence and protects operations by keeping human resource information confidential.

  • Assists the Human Resources Manager with the 30-, 60-, and 120-day new hire follow-up process.

  • Manages internal requisitions and supports unemployment claims by retrieving data from the human capital management system and assisting with form completion.

  • Conducts exit interviews with team members up to the Lead level and communicates feedback to management.

  • Supports new hire orientation, including the I-9 process, preparation of new hire packets, and coordination with IT for account setups.

  • Participates in HR-related projects and manages the temporary employee conversion process.

  • Maintains personnel files (active and terminated), benefit files, and I-9 documentation in compliance with federal and state regulations.

  • Oversees HR filing and archiving processes, including purging and storing files per HR record retention guidelines.

  • Assists with the recruitment process, including interview scheduling, reference checks, background investigations, offer letter drafting, applicant correspondence, and managing the recruiting email inbox.

  • Helps establish applicant recruiting requirements by analyzing assessment results and interview responses, aligning qualifications to job requirements.

  • Participates in hiring decisions for Customer Service Representatives.

  • Assists with performance management procedures and prepares reports on general HR activity.

  • Contributes to additional projects and performs other duties as assigned.

We are interested in speaking with individuals with the following…

  • High School Diploma required.

  • One (1) plus years of experience, or equivalent combination of education and/or experience.

  • Effective organizational and multitasking skills, with the ability to prioritize and meet deadlines.

  • Meticulous attention to detail and accuracy.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

  • Familiarity with HRIS/HCM systems (e.g., Workday) and applicant tracking systems is a plus.

  • Exposure to employment laws and regulations is desirable.

  • Full understanding of HR functions and best practices.

Salary: $18.81 - $25.40 per hour
