The Role

Cloud Imperium Games are looking for a HR Coordinator to join our existing People team based onsite at our studio in Manchester. You will support with various initiatives across HR and Talent Acquisition with a focus on supporting the administrative needs of our recruitment processes, along with providing general HR admin support. The ideal candidate will be organised, proactive, and capable of managing multiple tasks efficiently.

Founded in 2012, Cloud Imperium Games creates cutting-edge videogames that defy expectations. We’re currently developing Star Citizen, a record-breaking multiplayer online space sim, and Squadron 42, a cinematic single-player adventure set in the same universe. What does a HR Coordinator at CIG do?

  • Assist in the creation and posting of job advertisements on various platforms.
  • Coordinate interview schedules and communicate with candidates regarding interview logistics.
  • Maintain and update candidate databases and tracking systems.
  • Prepare and distribute offer letters and other recruitment-related documentation.
  • Conduct reference checks and background screenings.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for candidates throughout the recruitment process.
  • Assist in the preparation of onboarding materials and new hire documentation.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records.
  • Assist with HR projects and initiatives as needed.
  • Provide administrative support to HR team and any other delegated duties considered necessary in line with the role.

What do we expect from our HR Coordinator? 

  • Proven experience in an administrative role, preferably within HR or recruitment.
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and HR software.
  • Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality and professionalism.
