LGT Wealth Management was formed around a clear and uncompromising vision – to bring global best practice in building institutional quality investment portfolios to Australian clients.

With a shared passion for building an uncompromised business – we created something new from the ground up. A chance to leave behind the things that weren’t working, while enhancing the things that were. Our authentic and personalised client-first commitment. Our entrepreneurial spirit. Our focus in best-in-class advice. And our intimate understanding of the Australian private wealth landscape.

In 2022 we became a part of the LGT Group, who shared our entrepreneurial spirit, long-term approach and private-ownership model. Today, with the global expertise, stability, and capability of LGT behind us, we can work without being reliant on markets or margins, with a singular focus on giving our clients the advice and deep expertise they need for generations to come.

About the role

As the HR Operations and Systems Coordinator, you will help the HR team work more efficiently by improving workflows, making better use of technology and supporting the responsible adoption of approved AI tools. You will identify opportunities to streamline repetitive tasks, assist with testing and implementing practical digital improvements, maintain accurate people data, produce routine reports and provide administrative support across the broader HR team.

This is a great move for someone looking to step in to HR who may have a technology, engineering or similar background.

What you will do

Technology, automation and AI

  • Identify repetitive HR tasks and process bottlenecks; map current workflows and propose practical ways to reduce manual effort and improve service quality.
  • Help trial, document and assess approved digital tools, workflow changes and automations, checking that they save time without compromising accuracy or controls.
  • Explore appropriate uses of approved AI tools for low-risk work, verify outputs and seek review before use.

General HR administration

  • Respond to general HR enquiries from employees and managers, referring sensitive, complex or policy-related matters to the relevant HR colleague.
  • Prepare standard letters, forms and correspondence.
  • Coordinate learning and development sessions, including new starter induction, organise room bookings, catering, attendance records and maintenance of CPD points in Kaplan.
  • Manage Learning Portal administration.
  • Reporting from various HR systems and tailoring these as required.
  • Maintain and update policies in line with regulatory and legislative changes.
  • Manage the HR SharePoint intranet page.

About You

  • You’re curious about technology and have used data, systems or digital tools to solve practical problems and/or improve a process. That experience may come from HR or another field.
  • You’re interested in AI and automation, while recognising the need to use approved tools, check outputs and protect sensitive information.
  • Highly organised and process-driven, with a habit of spotting data issues and process improvements before they become problems.
  • You’re detail-oriented and comfortable balancing improvement work with reliable day-to-day support.
  • You communicate clearly, enjoy helping colleagues and know when to ask for guidance.
  • A degree in technology, engineering or a related field is welcome, as is equivalent practical experience.

LGT Wealth Management is committed to the ongoing development of their employees. Your development will be managed and tailored to your role and future career path.

LGT Wealth Management is an equal opportunity employer committed to embracing a diverse and inclusive work environment. We aim to attract and retain the best people regardless of their gender, marital/parental status, ethnic origin, nationality, age, background, disability, sexual orientation and gender identity.

Skills Required

  • At least 18 months of experience in an HR role
  • Knowledge of human resources and work health and safety policies and procedures
  • Strong stakeholder management, influencing, and negotiation skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Advanced Excel and data capabilities
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and multitasking skills
  • Ability to deliver accurate, high-quality work in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to use systems, data, and AI tools ethically and securely
