Requirements

  • Two (2) to four (4) years of administrative, human resources, training, or related experience; commercial construction experience preferred.
  • Experience working with personnel and confidential or sensitive information.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree in Business, Human Resources, or a related field preferred.
  • Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel, Adobe Acrobat, and other company-specific applications.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills with employees, management, clients, and individuals inside and outside the Company.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and follow through on assignments.
  • Ability to anticipate needs, plan ahead, and maintain accurate documentation.
  • Effective problem-solving skills and sound judgment.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment and adapt to changing project priorities.
  • Ability to coordinate across the project team, Corporate HR, and other departments and divisions to obtain information, complete documentation, and keep tasks on track.
Primary Duties
  • Provides onsite HR and administrative support for project employees and project leadership.
  • Coordinates new-hire onboarding activities, including required paperwork, orientation, training, and first-day preparation.
  • Initiates and tracks pre-employment requirements, including background checks and drug testing, and coordinates technology and other onboarding needs.
  • Communicates with hiring managers, project leadership, Corporate HR, and new employees regarding onboarding requirements and first-day schedules.
  • Maintains employee documentation, records, and tracking logs in accordance with Company processes and confidentiality requirements.
  • Serves as an onsite resource for employees by assisting with general HR questions and directing employees to the appropriate Corporate HR or Company resource when needed.
  • Supports Company-wide HR initiatives and employee programs, including required training, OSHA-30, HealthCheck360, benefits and open enrollment communications, performance management initiatives, and other Corporate HR programs.
  • Coordinates project-specific HR and administrative initiatives, employee communications, meetings, training activities, and events.
  • Assists with recruiting and workforce activities as needed, including interview coordination, candidate communication, career fairs, internships, and project staffing support.
  • Works across departments and divisions to coordinate information, documentation, and follow-up necessary to support project and Company initiatives.
  • Provides administrative support to project leadership, including scheduling, correspondence, documentation, expense and receipt tracking, and other assigned responsibilities.
  • Assists with employee engagement activities and project events in coordination with project leadership and Corporate HR.
  • Maintains confidentiality and handles employee and Company information with appropriate discretion.
  • Performs other HR and administrative duties as assigned based on project and Company needs.

Skills Required
