The opportunity
We're looking for a motivated and organised HR Coordinator to join our People, Safety & Culture team based at our Swanson Support Office.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to grow their HR career in a nationwide business that values people, collaboration, and continuous improvement. Reporting to the Director of People, Safety & Culture, you'll play an important role in supporting our HR operations and ensuring our people processes run smoothly.
As the first point of contact for many HR activities, you'll support everything from recruitment and onboarding to reporting, training coordination, employee documentation, and HR systems administration. No two days are the same, making this an ideal role for someone who enjoys variety and thrives in a fast-paced environment.
What you'll be doing
- Supporting recruitment activities, including candidate coordination and administration
- Assisting with onboarding and offboarding processes
- Maintaining accurate employee records and HR documentation
- Producing HR reports and supporting data analysis
- Coordinating HR training, events, and development initiatives
- Supporting HR Advisors with employee lifecycle activities
- Assisting with employee benefits, recognition programmes, and staff referrals
- Ensuring a high level of confidentiality and data integrity is maintained at all times
- Contributing to process improvements and administrative efficiencies across the HR function
About you
You're highly organised, detail-oriented, and enjoy helping others. You take pride in delivering quality work and building positive relationships with people at all levels of an organisation.
You can manage multiple priorities, communicate confidently and professionally, and adapt quickly to changing business needs. You're comfortable working with technology and enjoy finding smarter ways to get things done.
You will also bring:
- Previous experience in an HR administration, HR coordination, or similar people-focused role
- Strong organisational and time management skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- A high level of discretion and professionalism when handling confidential information
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
- Confidence using Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel
- A proactive and collaborative approach to work
- A willingness to learn and grow within the HR profession
