DUTIES / RESPONSIBILITIES: (Recruitment / HR-related)

 

Recruitment-Related

  • Review resumes and select best match candidates for each position
  • Post to job boards, help develop and execute Recruiting plans to find candidates
  • Oversee new Team Member onboarding process
  • Ensure Team Member Personnel files and Medical records are continuously updated and current
  • Handle HR administrative duties and Projects as assigned
  • Conduct Pre-employment phone screens; video interviews and in person interviews
  • Coordinate interviews with the hiring managers and candidates
  • Work with hiring managers to create and update job descriptions
  • Build a pool of applicant resources by researching and contacting community services, colleges, employment agencies, recruiters, media and internet sites and establishing relationships with those entities
  • Work collaboratively with hiring managers to understand the organization’s plans and objectives in order to meet projected staffing needs
  • Track and monitor status of potential candidates in the hiring process (pending interviews, job offers, start dates)
  • Initiate Background checks and Drug screens for potential candidates
  • Assist with putting together job offer letters

 

HR Related

  • Administer Health and Dental benefit plans for Team Members including new (and annual) enrollments, changes and terminations
  • Maintain weekly HR Reporting metrics
  • Handle HR monthly invoices
  • Work closely with Payroll manager to ensure accuracy of Team Member benefits as they relate to payroll deductions
  • Continuously strive to improve the organization’s attractiveness to candidates by recommending new policies and practices and emphasizing our unique benefits and perks
  • Avoid legal challenges in the recruiting and hiring process by understanding current legislation
  • Stay updated with job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications; maintaining personal networks; and participating in professional organizations

 

REQUIREMENTS: (Education, Experience, Skills, Abilities)

  • A minimum of 2 Years of experience in recruiting prospective candidates (vetting resumes and conducting interviews)
  • Strong interviewing and interpersonal skills
  • Basic understanding of employment law
  • Desire to continue in expanding knowledge in HR
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Results Driven
  • Ability to assess people’s talent and use good judgment
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word / Excel)
  • Supports Diversity

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met to successfully perform the essential functions of the job.

 

While performing the duties of this job, Team Member is regularly required to talk and hear.  Required to frequently sit, stand, walk, use hands to finger, handle or feel, and reach with hands and arms.

 

The job requires the ability to occasionally lift and/or move up to 10 pounds (i.e., files, etc.); sit, stoop, bend and kneel. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.

 

WORK ENVIRONMENT:

This job operates in a professional office environment and routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, copiers, filing cabinets and fax machines, etc.

 

This is a full-time position. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, occasional overtime may be required.
