Copa Health is looking for a Human Resources Coordinator & Receptionist to join our People First team. This role serves as the welcoming first point of contact at our Administrative Building while also providing hands-on support across a variety of HR/People First functions.

You'll gain exposure to HR operations, employee support, HR systems, onboarding, recruitment, employee records, and other People First processes while taking ownership of front desk operations.

- Serve as a welcoming and professional first point of contact for employees, applicants, visitors, and callers.
- Coordinate day-to-day front desk operations, including visitor management, incoming calls, mail, postage, and lobby needs.
- Serve as a first-level resource for routine employee questions and connect employees with the appropriate People First team member when additional support is needed.
- Assist employees with basic HR system navigation and resources, including Dayforce.
- Support employee lifecycle processes, including new hires, employee changes, transfers, promotions, and separations.
- Assist with maintaining accurate employee records and confidential People First documentation.
- Support routine employee data and documentation audits and follow up on missing or incomplete information.
- Provide coordination and administrative support for Recruitment and Onboarding activities.
- Track assigned People First requests, projects, and workflows to help ensure timely follow-through.
- Assist with People First communications, projects, employee resources, and department initiatives.
- Identify opportunities to improve administrative processes and the employee experience.
- Handle confidential and sensitive employee information with professionalism and discretion.
- Build positive working relationships across the organization and provide responsive, service-oriented support.
- High school diploma or GED required; associate degree or related education preferred.
- Two years of administrative, office, customer service, HR, or related experience preferred.
- Previous HR experience is helpful but not required - we're open to someone who has strong transferable skills and a genuine interest in developing a career in Human Resources.
