Job Description3 Months Contract to Hire
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for processing all Human Resources transactions and be resourceful in assisting the strategic development and planning processes.
- Work with the HR Manager to initiate the development, implementation of policies and procedures as needed.
- Responsible for all Employee on-boarding, personnel files, recruitment, hiring and orientation of new employees in the Philadelphia location.
- Prepare personnel files for delivery to payroll and internal HR department for New Hire processing
- Lead monthly New Hire orientation sessions
- Coordinate with external sources to schedule and attend career fairs and to hire and initiate internship programs as needed
- Analyze talent development program needs and lead the administration of each training batch.
- Manage employee relations
- Rollout and drive corporate programs like team building activities, Employee recognition programs, Roadshows etc.
- Maintain and follow up to date CA state employment laws and federal employment laws applicable to CCS.
Required experience:
- Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Human Resources Management.
- Any HR Certification is good to have, not a must have.
- 0-2 years’ experience in Human Resources experience working in the state of CA is preferred, in a Staffing or Consulting environment preferred.
- Experience with handling personnel files and onboarding activities
- Ability to perform independently
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Extensive work experience in MS Office suite
- Excellent organizational and prioritization skills
