Job Description SummaryThe HR Compliance Training & Communications Manager is a project-based role of approximately 3 months and is responsible for designing, developing, and delivering a sustainability plan for HR compliance investigation training materials, and for building and managing a centralized information and communication SharePoint site for HR Compliance tools and resources. This role helps ensure that HR, managers, and investigators have clear, consistent guidance, training, and access to up-to-date information to conduct investigations in line with legal, regulatory, and company policy & branding requirements.Job Description
Essential Responsibilities:
- Design and develop engaging HR compliance investigation training content (e-learning, facilitator-led, microlearning, job aids, FAQs).
- Translate policies and procedures on investigations into clear, user-friendly training materials for HR, managers, and other stakeholders.
- Create role-based training paths (e.g., HR Business Partners, Compliance, People Leaders, Investigators).
- Collaborate with HR, Legal, Compliance, and Ethics to ensure content is accurate, up-to-date, and aligned with regulatory requirements and company standards.
- Incorporate scenarios and case studies to illustrate proper investigation practices (e.g., intake, documentation, confidentiality, impartiality, remediation).
- Update training content regularly based on policy changes, audit findings, and lessons learned from investigations.
- Design, build, and administer a centralized HR compliance investigation SharePoint site (or equivalent platform).
- Create intuitive site structure and navigation so users can easily find policies, process guides, templates, toolkits, and FAQs.
- Develop and maintain a library of investigation tools (e.g., intake forms, interview guides, evidence logs, report templates, decision trees).
- Ensure version control and access management, so users see the latest approved documents and sensitive content is appropriately restricted.
- Implement search optimization and tagging to make resources easy to locate.
- Develop communication plans to promote new and updated training, tools, and resources.
- Create clear communication materials (emails, newsletters, guides, quick-reference one-pagers) explaining investigation processes, expectations, and updates.
- Partner with HR leadership and Compliance to cascade key messages and reinforce consistent investigation standards.
- Gather feedback from HR, managers, and users to identify gaps and opportunities for improvement.
- Establish and maintain standards for investigation-related documents, templates, and training materials.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, local labor laws, data privacy, and relevant regulatory requirements.
Qualifications/ Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in Communications, Talent Development or related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in HR, Compliance, Employee Relations, or Learning & Development.
- Demonstrated experience designing and developing training materials (e-learning, presentations, job aids, curricula).
- Hands-on experience building and maintaining SharePoint sites or similar collaboration platforms.
Desired Characteristics:
- Familiarity and knowledge of global employment landscape and cultural considerations for leading practices in human resource management
- Instructional design skills; ability to transform complex policies into clear, practical training and tools
- Proficiency in SharePoint (site design, permissions, document libraries), MS Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel), and common e-learning tools (e.g., Articulate, Captivate, Rise, or similar)
- Strong judgment, confidentiality, and integrity; able to navigate sensitive, high-visibility matters
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to explain complex topics simply and clearly
- Data-driven with strong analytic and auditing skills; experience with data visualization and storytelling
- Proven problem solving, simplification, and process improvement; continuous improvement mindset
- Ability to influence across functions, sites, and countries; collaborates effectively at all levels
- Strong organizational and project management capabilities; able to drive cross-functional initiatives to closure
