HR Communications Operations & Support Specialist – Corporate Communications – Vice President
We’re seeking someone to join our team as a HR Operations and Support Specialist, focused on instilling operational discipline in HR communications — ensuring clear prioritization, consistent standards and coordinated delivery across initiatives, stakeholders and channels.
In the Corporate Communications department, we cultivate and protect the Firm’s powerful global brand and reputation, leveraging our resources across media relations, internal communications, philanthropy and digital strategy to ensure we present the Firm consistently in all that we do. This is a Vice President position within our Communications Job Family which is primarily responsible for the crafting and development of messages and programs aimed at the firm’s employees overall, as well as the firm’s Financial Advisors and Field Management. We provide editorial support and strategic guidance to business partners, liaise with the Firm’s businesses and departments and senior leadership on internal communications matters, and provide thought leadership and strategic guidance on communications.

What you’ll do in the role
Take accountability for completion of assigned processes or programs
Lead the development of new ideas and may lead development of policies in own area -Develop and manage operational initiatives to deliver tactical results
Independently drive the delivery of projects
Take ownership of decisions and actions that advance key business objectives
Innovate while factoring in both short term and long-term strategic priorities
Own HR communications intake, prioritization, planning and the editorial calendar, ensuring transparency, discipline and accountability across initiatives.
Act as “air traffic control” for HR communications, managing sequencing, dependencies, issues and escalations across stakeholders and regions.
Establish, maintain and enforce communications templates, standards and approval pathways to improve speed, consistency and quality.
Coordinate HR‑to‑HR communications across functions and geographies to reduce duplication and confusion for employees.
Partner closely with stakeholders to ensure the right message reaches the right audience, through the right channel, at the right time.
Oversee vendor communications governance to ensure employee‑centric framing and integration into broader HR campaigns.

Proven ability to multi-task and deliver with minimal supervision
High level of professionalism with experience working with multiple stakeholders
Ability to work independently and as part of a team -- making informed decisions in a complex and fast-paced environment

Preferred: HR subject-matter expertise to strengthen prioritization, accuracy and sequencing.
At least 6 years’ experience in HR and/or employee communications, communications operations, program/project management and/or editorial operations.
Strong operational rigor and calm under pressure; proven ability to manage multiple workstreams simultaneously.
Excellent editorial judgment and a bias for simplicity.

Expected base pay rates for the role will be between $120,000 and $210,000 per year at the commencement of employment. However, base pay if hired will be determined on an individualized basis and is only part of the total compensation package, which, depending on the position, may also include commission earnings, incentive compensation, discretionary bonuses, other short and long-term incentive packages, and other Morgan Stanley sponsored benefit programs.
