Summary of the Job:
About This Role:
Immigration: Manage all aspects of employment-based immigration for FNBO, ensure compliance with federal regulations, and support the organization's talent acquisition goals.
Act as a primary point of contact for immigration matters, coordinating between employees, hiring managers, legal counsel, and government agencies. Partner with Talent Acquisition on visa sponsorship decisions.
Manage end-to-end immigration processes including H-1B, PERM, green card, and other categories.
In conjunction with outside counsel, prepare, review, and submit immigration petitions and applications to USCIS, Department of Labor, and other relevant agencies.
Monitor case deadlines and ensure timely filing of petitions, extensions, and renewals. Maintain accurate tracking systems and documentation.
Stay current on immigration policy changes and assess impact and prepare for and manage government audits or site visits.
Leave of Absence: Administer and manage all employee leave programs for FNBO, ensure compliance with federal and state regulations, and provide support to employees during critical life events. Act as a primary resource for leave-related matters, coordinating between employees, managers, benefits providers, and legal counsel to ensure seamless administration.Administer all leave programs including FMLA, ADA accommodations, workers’ compensation, personal leaves, military leaves, and state-specific leave and/or sick pay entitlements.
Review and process leave requests, determine eligibility, and communicate decisions to employees and managers. Coordinate and calculate full and intermittent entitlements.
Process disability claims and coordinate with third-party administrators.
Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local laws and regulations; monitor regulatory changes and emerging trends; and manage job restoration requirements.
Unemployment: manage unemployment insurance claims, prepare for and attend hearings, protect FNBO's interests, and ensure compliance with state unemployment regulations. Serve as a liaison between FNBO, state unemployment agencies, and the third-party administrator.Workers' Compensation: in conjunction with Enterprise Sourcing, manage FNBO's workers' compensation program, ensure appropriate action for employees, and maintain regulatory compliance. Serve as a primary liaison between employees, managers, healthcare providers, insurance carriers, and regulatory agencies.HR Solution One: This role will be asked from time to time to back up the HR Solution One Case/Ops Team as volumes ebb and flow based upon time of year and potential for future acquisitions. This role also may also be asked to assist with basic Employee Relations matters rarely.The Ideal Candidate for This Role:
Required Skills and Experience:
- Bachelor’s Degree with focus on Human Resources, Communications, Business, or related field or relevant experience.
- Minimum of 2-3 years of progressive experience in HR role with knowledge of labor and employment laws and immigration compliance.
- Ability to operate under a high degree of confidentiality and flexibility.
- Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills. Must have demonstrated ability to communicate and collaborate effectively.
- Excellent critical thinking, analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office suite

- PHR human resources certification.
- Workday experience.

Compensation:
Compensation range (base pay): $63,288.00-$104,425.00
This role may have a specific starting pay within this range.
Final compensation offer to candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon work experience, education, and/or skill level.
Work Environment:
It is anticipated that the incumbent in this role will work in a hybrid capacity, balancing in-person collaboration three (3) days a week with remote flexibility two (2) days a week.
