The Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) serves as a partner to property leadership, driving a high-performance culture focused on exceptional guest service. HRBP actively works with department leaders on matters such as employee relations, providing guidance on coaching, counseling, conflict resolution, and policy and procedure. Additionally, this role supports initiatives such as recruiting, onboarding, training , employee development and employee engagement. The HRBP is responsible for creating a positive work environment that aligns with our core values.
Responsibilities- Serves as initial point of advice, problem resolution and facilitation in areas of employee relations, performance management, employee discipline, training and recruiting.
- Maintains and update documents in Oracle HRIS.
- Ensure compliance with all policies and procedures, collective bargaining requirements and employment/labor laws.
- Assist with full-cycle recruitment process including requisitions, Sourcing, attracting and interviewing candidates facilitating onboarding process, conducting exit interviews.
- Partners with hiring managers
- Coordinates and facilitates team member recognition programs and team member events.
- Ensures HR support and coverage on all shifts as needed.
- Takes initiative, shows ownership and goes above and beyond to assist internal and external guests with their needs.
- Must be 21 years of age or older
- Bachelor’s degree and 2+ years of experience as HR generalist or equivalent combination of experience.
- Strong organizational, prioritization, and analytical skills.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Ability to cultivate strong relationships and to influence.
