We are currently looking for a collaborative HR Generalist to join our team on a 12-month fixed-term contract. In this role, you’ll support the full employee lifecycle and act as a key HR partner to managers and employees at our Strzelin site.
About the Strzelin Site
Our Strzelin facility is a European Center of Excellence for manufacturing high-performance pump and water technologies. With over 350 employees on site, we focus on operational excellence, innovation, and continuous improvement.
The facility includes a Learning Center, where employees and partners engage in ongoing professional development. The work culture is collaborative, inclusive, and focused on long-term growth, with a strong commitment to quality, lean practices, and sustainability.
Key Responsibilities
Recruitment & Onboarding
Conduct interviews and assist in candidate selection.
Coordinate onboarding and new hire documentation.
Maintain accurate employee data in the HRIS system.
Compensation & Benefits
Support employee benefits administration.
Assist with salary reviews and market benchmarking.
Ensure compliance with local labor laws regarding pay and benefits.
Performance & Employee Relations
Assist in performance review processes and goal setting.
Support managers in handling employee relations and improvement plans.
Conduct exit interviews and support employee retention initiatives.
Training & Development
Identify training needs and support learning initiatives.
Help organize employee engagement activities.
Promote a learning culture aligned with Xylem’s values.
HR Compliance & Administration
Ensure compliance with Polish labor laws and internal policies.
Maintain and improve HR procedures and documentation.
Address employee queries related to HR policies and practices.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business Administration, or related field.
At least 3 years of experience in a generalist HR role.
Experience in the manufacturing industry
Good understanding of Polish labor law and HR compliance.
Experience working with HRIS systems and Microsoft 365.
Excellent communication and organizational skills.
Ability to work independently and handle sensitive matters with discretion.
Fluent in English and Polish both written and spoken.
