The HR Business Partner (HRBP) is a strategic individual contributor role providing full-cycle HR support and advisory services across the APAC and AU region, with primary operational focus on the Philippines, Singapore, and Australia, as well as support for China, Hong Kong, and South Korea.
This role acts as a trusted advisor to management and employees, handling complex employee relations, performance management, and regional workplace operations while reflecting WWT’s core values and business objectives.
Job Responsibilities
- Strategic Advisory: Serve as a true HR consultant to business leaders, understanding operational challenges, supporting departmental needs, and resolving complex workforce issues.
- Employee Relations & Performance Management: Professional handling of sensitive employee relations, performance monitoring, and case management—providing expert guidance to managers and following cases through to resolution.
- Regional Compliance & Operations: Act as the subject matter expert on Philippine labor laws and statutory compliance (DOLE, BIR, SSS, PhilHealth, Pag-IBIG), while maintaining strong working knowledge of employment laws in Singapore and Australia.
- Workforce Integration: Oversee end-to-end onboarding, offboarding, service records, and benefits enrollment for local and regional teams.
- Global Collaboration: Partner closely with Global HR and regional teams to align operations, employment contracts, handbooks, code of conduct, and job grading systems.
- HR Systems & Data Integrity: Maintain core employee records and process documentation in HRIS systems (ADP and Oracle) to support trends, reporting, and audits.
- Engagement & Growth: Drive local engagement initiatives and support miscellaneous regional HR projects as the team and footprint expand.
Requirements
- Experience: Minimum 8+ years of broad HR experience, with at least 5+ years in a dedicated HRBP or HR Consultant role handling complex employee relations and performance management.
- Regional Legal Knowledge: Strong expertise in Philippine labor law and statutory requirements; practical experience with Singapore and Australian employment legislation is strongly preferred.
- System Experience: Hands-on experience with HRIS platforms; proficiency in Oracle and ADP is preferred.
- Scale & Setup: Proven track record establishing or scaling HR operations, policy frameworks, and committee setups in a growing office environment.
- Schedule Flexibility: Ability to work flexible hours across APAC and US Central time zones to support global stakeholders.
- Work Setup Flexibility: Ability to work in a hybrid setup in Makati or BGC Taguig City
