As an HR Business Partner, you play a meaningful role in helping Dymax grow through its people. You will partner with leaders to connect HR practices to business priorities, build trusted relationships across the organization, and provide practical, people-centered guidance that supports strong teams, engaged employees, and a culture where learning and development feel relevant, energizing, and valuable.

What You Will Get to Do

  • Partner with leaders on business and workforce priorities. Build trusted relationships, understand operational needs, and support workforce plans by monitoring headcount, vacancies, hiring, overtime, attendance, turnover, time-to-fill, engagement, and internal movement. Use trends to identify needs and support measurable action plans.
  • Provide employee relations and compliance support. Respond to employee and manager questions, assist with workplace investigations, and guide leaders through attendance, performance, and corrective-action processes. Apply policies consistently and escalate complex or high-risk matters appropriately.
  • Develop manager and supervisor capabilities. Provide practical guidance on goal setting, feedback, documentation, accountability, employee development, and consistent application of HR policies.
  • Support talent acquisition, onboarding, and retention. Partner with recruiting resources and hiring managers to meet staffing needs, strengthen onboarding, improve retention, and create a positive employee experience.
  • Coordinate talent and development programs. Support performance reviews, talent discussions, succession planning, high-potential development, training, tuition reimbursement, and online learning administration.
  • Strengthen engagement and culture. Support surveys, recognition, communications, inclusion efforts, and related action plans. Model Dymax values and collaborate across HR to provide responsive, consistent support across departments and shifts.
  • Reinforce safety and employment compliance. Partner with HR and EHS on safety initiatives, workers’ compensation, return-to-work programs, required documentation, and compliance with applicable employment laws.
  • Support compensation, organizational, and change initiatives. Gather market and job information, prepare documentation for compensation and job evaluations, and support communications, training, and employee needs related to new processes, technology, organizational changes, and culture initiatives.

Requirements

Who You Are

  • You bring 3+ years of progressive HR experience, including exposure to employee relations, performance management, recruiting, engagement, training, or HR operations.
  • You have foundational knowledge of employment laws and understand when to seek guidance or escalate a concern.
  • You apply policies consistently while balancing employee needs, business requirements, empathy, and accountability.
  • You build credibility by listening, communicating clearly, maintaining confidentiality, and following through on commitments.
  • You are comfortable supporting managers, coordinating HR processes, analyzing information, and making practical recommendations.
  • You communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, with employees and leaders at different levels.
  • You are organized, curious, dependable, and motivated to develop your HR business-partner capabilities.

Education

  • A bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred; relevant HR experience may be considered in place of a degree.

Software Skills

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and the ability to learn and use HRIS, applicant-tracking, learning-management, and reporting systems.

Work Conditions

  • You are primarily office-based and comfortable with occasional work in production-floor and lab settings.

Travel Demands

  • You are available for approximately 20% travel based on business needs.

Salary Range: $83,000 - $124,000

Dymax takes the compensation of its employees very seriously and considers several factors when determining the total compensation package including but not limited to location, market range, skills, knowledge, experience, and abilities. The base salary range represents the low and high end of the Dymax salary range for this position. Actual salaries will vary and may be above or below the range. The range listed is just one component of Dymax’s total compensation packages for employees.
