The HR Business Partner for Engineering Execution acts as a strategic advisor to Department Leadership guiding people/workforce strategies, organizational design/effectiveness, and driving cultural integration.
The HR Business Partner will be championing and supporting the maturation of the Raytheon Engineering business model through partnerships with SBU Engineering and all three engineering disciplines (HW, Software, SETC).
The HR Business Partner will drive compensation philosophy around market rate hiring, eligible workforce labor mix, retention, and compression solutioning in partnership with total rewards and finance.
Will proactively facilitate and lead organizational Team/IC Effectiveness Initiatives and Talent Reviews with focus on organizational vitality and risk including retention and knowledge sharing strategies, succession planning, identification of high potential and deep reach future technical and functional leaders. Develop leadership actions to drive talent initiatives to closure.
What You Will Do
Transformation & Change Leadership
- Drive people/workforce strategy to achieve business outcomes.
- Lead organizational design and effectiveness to build an integrated culture within Engineering.
- Collaborate with HR CoEs, HREPs, HR SBU ENG, WFP and business leaders to support large scale transformation and change initiatives including communications, training, and capability-building.
- Drive adoption of new operating models, workforce strategies, and ways of working
Stakeholder Engagement & Executive Support
- Build strong partnerships with HW Engineering leaders to ensure workforce strategies align with Raytheon objectives and transformation roadmaps.
- Deliver executive-ready reports, presentations, and recommendations.
- Facilitate cross-engineering collaboration to drive initiatives and change adoption.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with executives and senior leaders.
- Ability to influence and build trust-based relationships through translating data and emerging trends to action/results.
- Comfort operating in ambiguity with sound judgment and bias for action.
- Individuals who display values and behaviors and hold themselves accountable for actions and results.
Qualifications You Must Have
- Typically requires a University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 10 years of prior relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 8 years of experience.
- At least 4 years of human resources experience.

- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or a related field.
- Excellent communication, presentation, facilitation, and interpersonal skills.
- Successfully managing multiple, and often conflicting priorities, while maintaining positive relationships with customers.

Remote: This position currently is designated as remote. Employees who are working in remote roles will work primarily offsite (from home) but may be expected to travel to the site location as needed. The successful candidate for this role will be required to reside and work from one of the 50 U.S. states (excluding U.S. territories).

The salary range for this role is 132,400 USD - 251,600 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
