We are currently recruiting for an Interim HR Business Partner to sit within our local German HR team, based in our Berlin office to cover a 12month Fixed Term Maternity Contract. Supporting Uniqlo’s retail stores in both Berlin and Hamburg, you will work alongside the wider German and European HR team and partner closely with your stakeholders in store management and operations at a local level.
This is an ideal opportunity for an immediately available HR Generalist with a background in retail HR or similar, to join our fast growing German team and gain experience across the next 12 months.
What you will be responsible for
Providing advice and support to managers and employees on all human resources related topics
Collaborating in personnel processing (preparation of employment contracts and references, certification and correspondence with public offices, maintenance of personnel files, maintenance of personnel data in Excel and in our IT systems)
Collaborating in the conception and implementation of new personnel management solutions
Managing recruitment process for store staff, trainees and HQ positions (pre-selection of applicants, coordination and organisation of interviews and recruiting events)
Preparation of personnel key figures and reports
Manage and support expatriates
Promote and support the employment of employees with disabilities
Skills, Experience and Attributes:
Successfully completed business studies with a focus on human resources or comparable training (e.g. human resources coordinator/BP)
2-3 years professional experience in personnel administration and HR
Good knowledge of German labour law
Experience working with work councils could be an advantage
Experience in Workforce is preferred
Must be fluent in both English and German (C1 & C2) with strong communication skills
Good knowledge of all MS Office applications, Workday knowledge is an advantage
Excellent intercultural skills and enjoy working in an international team
Structured, conscientious and at the same time energetic and solution-oriented way of working
Flexibility to travel to other stores within Germany on a regular monthly basis
