The HR Associate will be responsible for accurately monitoring and processing the schedules and timesheets of employees. Ensuring all employee work hours are properly documented and processes for payroll purposes. Maintaining attendance records and providing reports as needed. Assist in processing end-to-end employee payrolls as well as update and maintain employee records.
Responsibilities
- Prepare timekeeping every payroll and monitoring of attendance through timekeeping system.
- Ensure the accuracy of attendance checking and monitoring for payroll purposes.
- Maintain and update timesheet and attendance records.
- Track and monitor employees leave credits and usage.
- Provide report management regarding employee attendance.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and government policies regarding work hours and overtime.
- Resolve discrepancies of payroll attendance information and/or documentation.
- Process payroll including final pay of separated employees.
- Prepare attendance report for approval.
- Assist in monthly and yearly reports including annualization and alphalist.
- Assist auditors for the purpose of providing requested support documentation required for audit.
- Ensure a timely response to employee inquiries.
- Actively involved in People and culture programs, projects, and activities.
- Other responsibilities and duties as defined from time to time.
Requirements
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in payroll processing and timekeeping.
- Bachelor’s degree in human resources or related field.
- Knowledgeable in using HRIS and timekeeping system, excel and other formula, Microsoft office etc.
- Knowledge of state and federal labor laws and regulations is a plus.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Demonstrating an ability to work with confidential information.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask.
