Our food service division manages a network of quick-service and counter-service locations across the greater Chicagoland area, serving thousands of customers every day at high-traffic venues, including commercial districts, transit hubs, and retail centers.
ABOUT THE ROLEWe are looking for an HR Assistant to provide administrative support across day-to-day human resources activities. You will help maintain employee records, coordinate HR processes, support onboarding, and respond to routine employee questions while working closely with the HR team.
WHAT YOU WILL DOMaintain and update employee records and HR documentation
Support onboarding and offboarding activities
Assist with scheduling interviews, meetings, and HR-related activities
Respond to routine employee questions and direct requests to the appropriate team
Prepare and organize HR documents, reports, and communications
Assist with maintaining HR systems and spreadsheets
Support day-to-day administrative tasks for the HR team
Previous experience in HR, administration, customer service, or a similar role
Strong organization and attention to detail
Good written and verbal communication skills
Comfortable working with confidential employee information
Proficiency with Microsoft Office or Google Workspace
Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines
Comfortable working independently in a fully remote environment
Reliable internet connection and workspace
Legally authorized to work in the United States
Previous HR or recruiting experience
Familiarity with HRIS or applicant tracking systems
Experience supporting onboarding or employee records
Background in food service, hospitality, retail, care, or other multi-location businesses
$20–$27 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications.
