An HR Assistant provides administrative and operational support to the Human Resources department. The role involves maintaining employee records, assisting with recruitment and onboarding, answering employee questions, processing HR documents, and ensuring that HR activities are completed accurately and confidentially.
Key Responsibilities
Assist with recruiting, interviewing, and scheduling candidates.
Post job openings on job boards and company career websites.
Review resumes and applications and coordinate candidate communications.
Schedule interviews and communicate interview details to candidates and hiring managers.
Assist with new employee onboarding and orientation.
Prepare offer letters, employment documents, and onboarding paperwork.
Maintain accurate and confidential employee personnel files.
Update employee information in HR databases and systems.
Assist employees with questions regarding company policies, benefits, payroll, and HR procedures.
Track attendance, leave requests, and employee documentation.
Assist with payroll preparation and provide information to the payroll department.
Help administer employee benefits and communicate enrollment information.
Prepare HR reports, spreadsheets, and other administrative documents.
Assist with performance reviews, employee evaluations, and training activities.
Ensure HR records are complete, accurate, and properly organized.
Maintain confidentiality of employee and company information.
Assist HR managers with special projects and daily administrative tasks.
Ensure HR procedures are followed in accordance with company policies and applicable regulations.

Typical Qualifications
