Summary Generated by Built In

We're looking for an HR Assistant who thrives in a fast-paced environment, juggles priorities like a pro, and genuinely enjoys helping people.

This isn't a sit-back-and-wait role. You'll be right in the middle of the action — supporting our HR Manager and interacting with personnel at every level of the organization. One day you might be coordinating a company event; the next, you're maintaining confidential employee records or building a new form from scratch. If you like variety and can work independently without losing a beat, you'll fit right in.

Cat-i Glass participates in E-Verify to confirm employment eligibility after hire.

What You'll Do
  • Keep our records organized — filing, scanning, and archiving for retention compliance
  • Help plan and coordinate company events
  • Build forms and administrative tools as needs arise
  • Provide day-to-day administrative support to the HR Department
  • Support monthly training sessions
  • Lend a hand to the main office and Accounting Department as needed
  • Handle employee records with accuracy and the highest level of confidentiality
  • Take on other duties as they come up — because no two days look the same

Qualifications:

  • Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Detail oriented
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

Education/Experience:

  • High School or Equivalent
  • 2 years minimum of HR Knowledge
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office360
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish

What We Have To Offer:

  • Medical, dental, and vision insurance — because a trip to the dentist or the eye doctor shouldn't be a financial decision.
  • If you get hurt or sick, your paycheck doesn't stop. Short-term and long-term disability, so one bad injury doesn't turn into a financial crisis for your family.
  • Time off that's actually yours. PTO plus floating holidays
  • 401(k). Retirement isn't a "someday" problem. We help you build it starting now.
  • Life insurance, on us. Company-paid, at no cost to you.
  • We'll help pay for school. Tuition reimbursement if you want to keep growing — your future here isn't capped by the job you walked in with.
  • This is a place you'll actually want to be. Friends & family events, a holiday party, and perks running all year long.

Physical Demands and Working Environment:

The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.

  • Perform job duties in an office environment by operating basic office equipment, fax machine, scanner, copier, desktop computer, and phone.
  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear, repetitively.
  • The employee frequently is required to stand, walk, and stoop.
  • The employee regularly lift and/or move up to 5 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
  • Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.

Skills Required

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • At least 2 years of HR knowledge or experience
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365
  • Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
