Responsibilities

Kickstart (or continue) your career in HR with Daimler Truck UK

We're looking for a motivated and driven HR Apprentice to join our team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is serious about building a career in HR — whether you're just starting out, transitioning into HR from another role, or have already completed a Level 3 HR apprenticeship and are ready to progress to Level 5.

This isn't a typical apprenticeship. Our HR team operates in a fast-paced, commercial environment, so we're looking for someone who can hit the ground running, juggle multiple priorities, and become a valued member of the team from day one.

Alongside hands-on experience, you'll be supported through a Level 3 or Level 5 HR Apprenticeship, depending on your experience and capability.

What You'll Be Doing

You'll gain exposure across the full HR function, including:

  • Supporting day-to-day HR administration, ensuring records and documentation are accurate and up to date.
  • Acting as a first point of contact for HR queries, providing a professional and helpful service.
  • Supporting recruitment, onboarding, and employee lifecycle processes.
  • Assisting with reward and benefits activities, including our company car scheme and benefits administration.
  • Supporting HR projects and continuous improvement initiatives. Using HR systems and data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
  • Supporting employee relations administration with a high level of confidentiality. Building strong relationships across the business and developing an understanding of how HR supports operational success.

This role offers real variety, responsibility, and exposure across HR — not just administration.
