Job Summary
The incumbent is responsible for managing HR activities according to established guidelines and sound administrative practices. These functions include responsibility for developing, interpreting, and recommending program goals and objectives, policies, and procedures, and courses of action. The HR Analyst works closely with internal and external vendors, HR leadership, and other members of their assigned and adjacent HR teams to ensure consistent HR practices.
Quality improvement focus, including but not limited to, providing timely and accurate reports, data integrity, accuracy and continuity of processes, problem resolution, vendor management, resolving escalated issues, and assisting in the development of leader training/education.Job Description
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Education: Bachelors degree, preferably in a related field (e.g. HR or Business Management) or equivalent experience
Licenses/Certifications: SHRM Certification (PHR or CP) preferred
Experience / Knowledge / Skills:

Five (5) years of professional experience in Employee Relations/Human Resources

PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES
-
Works closely with internal partners (HR, Legal, Privacy, Security, Compliance, EDI, etc.) to enhance and streamline programs & processes that impact the efficiency and effectiveness of Advice & Counsel Services.

Oversees Employee Relations case management system; assigns cases as needed, audits for consistency and reporting purposes.

Provides timely and accurate analytics/insights regarding complaints and investigations as it pertains to working conditions, disciplinary actions and employee and applicant appeals and grievances.

Completes and maintains quality audits/review measures and SOPs for process improvement.

Ensures consistency in new hire background check process and manages annual all employee background checks.

Assists in annual HR Policy review and updates to system.

Assists team in responding to EEOC charges & Unemployment Hearings

Supports team in processing Immigration/Visa petitions
-
Prepares and presents required & special reports to include annual EEO-1 report.

Conducts HR file review as needed and other audits.

Serves as key liaison between ACS department and third-party vendors (e.g., unemployment compensation management vendor).

Invoice processing & budget tracking.

Participates in special projects as needed.

adheres to all Memorial Hermann policies, procedures, & standards within budgetary specifications including time management, supply management, productivity, & quality of service.
