With a new Chief Human Resources Officer joining the business, we’re building a modern, commercially minded HR function focused on lifting performance, strengthening leadership capability, and enabling the business to scale with confidence. There’s real energy, momentum, and opportunity — and this role sits right at the centre of it. Working closely with our Senior People Business Partner, you’ll gain broad, hands-on exposure across the people agenda while playing a meaningful role in helping leaders and teams perform at their best.
What You’ll Do
Act as a trusted HR advisor, providing practical, commercial guidance that supports better decision-making and stronger business outcomes.
Be a first point of contact for employee queries across policies, benefits and people processes, delivering a responsive and human experience.
Support the smooth delivery of core HR operations, ensuring accuracy, consistency and compliance across HR systems.
Apply strong working knowledge of employment legislation to manage risk, while thinking creatively and pragmatically to resolve ER matters in a situation-based way.
Build people-leader capability by coaching managers on effective people practices and employment legislation.
Support line managers through performance and conduct matters with clear, confident and commercially balanced advice.
Partner with global People team members to deliver people programmes aligned to business priorities.
This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-moving environment, wants meaningful exposure within a truly commercial HR team, and is excited by the opportunity to contribute during a defining phase of the business’s growth.
What You’ll Bring
A commercially minded HR professional who thrives in a fast-paced, growth environment.
Experience in a generalist HR or People role, ideally within a commercial or scaling organisation.
Good working knowledge of employment legislation, with the confidence to ask questions and apply guidance in practical situations.
Comfortable supporting employee relations matters with guidance, using a pragmatic and people-focused approach.
Strong communication skills and the ability to build positive working relationships with leaders and employees.
Highly organised, detail-oriented and comfortable managing competing priorities.
Confident using HR systems and maintaining accurate, compliant employee records, Workday experience is a big plus
Collaborative and adaptable, with the energy to contribute during a period of change.
Ability to handle sensitive information with care, discretion and a high level of professionalism.
