Hybrid Role: 3 days in the office / 2 days remote (home office)
Location: Insurgentes Sur, Mexico City
We are currently seeking an HR Advisor to join our diverse and dynamic team supporting our Canadian employee population. As an HR Advisor at ICON, you will provide critical support across HR functions, offering guidance and expertise to employees and managers on a range of HR matters. Your role will be instrumental in fostering a positive and inclusive work environment while ensuring compliance with HR policies and practices.What You Will Be Doing:
Providing day-to-day HR support and advice to employees and managers, in Canada, on topics such as employee relations, performance management, and policy interpretation.
Assisting in the development and implementation of HR policies, procedures, and initiatives to support organizational goals.
Collaborating with HR and cross-functional teams on projects related to employee engagement, retention, and talent development.
Providing strong support for Canada benefits, including absences, workers’ compensation, onboarding, and retirement plans.
Maintaining accurate employee records and ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
Your Profile:
Bachelor's degree in human resources, business administration, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
English advanced.
At least 2 years of similar experience in an HR role, with knowledge of employee relations, HR policies, and employment law (Canada).
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to provide clear and empathetic support to employees.
Good organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
A proactive and solutions-oriented approach, with a commitment to continuous improvement in HR practices.
