The team

GPS (GlobalLogic People Support) in Hitachi Digital covers a variety of HR processes, including benefits administration, onboarding, compensation and more. We provide support to our employees, managers and team colleagues with HR related questions and tasks, as well as, working closely with HR teams globally to deliver excellent HR operations service. In this role, as a member of the GPS EMEA region (12 countries) you will be responsible for coordinating and administering the day to day operations of our employee benefits programs to ensure the EMEA Benefits Team delivers comprehensive and professional service, as well as, supporting GPS EMEA Team with UK labour law related topics and queries.

The role

In this position you will be supporting and guiding HR Operations team regarding any queries, tasks or inputs relating to UK labour law. You will coordinate daily benefits processing, including enrollments, deregistration and dealing with employees requests in the Jira system while administering benefits within the EMEA region, always taking service to the next level by ensuring professional, high quality and timely service delivery within your designated area.

You will participate in internal and global HR projects to improve user experience and deliver top-class service, store and maintain employee application and consent forms related to benefits/pension as well as provide monthly benefits reports to the Finance and Payroll teams for salary calculation and vendor payments. Additionally, you will be also a part of projects related to improving efficiency and work quality; you will be updating knowledge base with any benefits related changes, including policies, guidelines, etc. while also creating and maintaining reports in relation to benefits utilization, satisfaction and annual membership information (tasks include also coordinating with benefits providers regarding any discrepancies or accesses to the benefits platforms issues). Close work and collaboration with other HR teams, support functions, managers and employees across the world is also a vital part of this role.

What you’ll bring

  • Working knowledge of UK labour law (essential)
  • Customer Service experience
  • Understanding of Global HR processes (experience in HR Shared Service environment would be an asset)
  • Fluent in English – written and verbal
  • Fluent in Polish - written and verbal
  • Experience in employee benefits administration
  • Excellent MS Office knowledge and skills
  • 2-3 years HR systems practical knowledge (will be an asset)
  • Attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively
  • Adaptability and willingness to learn new skills
  • Anchored knowledge of relevant HR processes
