Job Responsibilities
- Provide generalist HR support across the full employee life cycle and support wider HR projects.
- Manage employment offers, pre-employment screening, new starter documentation, onboarding, and induction.
- Drafting correspondence relating to contract changes, probation extensions, sickness absence, family leave, disciplinary and grievance matters, performance management etc.
- Ensuring HR system is up to date with all relevant information for payroll and reporting purposes
- Conducting exit interviews, using relevant tools and resources to analyse trends and suggesting changes where issues are identified
- Provide advice and guidance to managers and employees on HR policies, procedures, and employment law to support effective resolution.
- Assist in the roll-out and application of HR policies, ensuring consistent understanding and adherence across the business.
- Assisting HR BP’s with performance management processes, including developing performance improvement plans and conducting performance evaluations.
- Assist HR BP’s with employee relations issues.
- Coordinate training sessions and development initiatives, ensuring employees have access to growth opportunities.
- Support initiatives aimed at fostering a diverse, equitable, and inclusive workplace.
- Provide support for health and wellness programs, ensuring effective communication and employee participation.
- Ensure compliance with employment laws, HR policies, and organisational procedures, escalating risks as necessary.
Job Requirements
- Strong understanding and/or experience of working across all disciplines within HR
- Knowledge of best HR practice and UK employment legislation
- Knowledge of financial services industry, financial services practices and the regulatory environment
- Excellent attention to detail
- Organised, efficient, with ability to balance multiple demanding deadlines
- Ability to build and maintain strong client relationships across all levels of the organisation
- Ability to work autonomously within the framework of the applicable policies and delegation rules
- Studying toward or completed CIPD Level 3 or 5
