Position Overview
The HR Administrator supports the daily operations of the Human Resources department by managing employee documentation, assisting with hiring administration, and serving as a point of contact for employees regarding HR-related questions. This role ensures accurate employee records, compliance with HR processes, and smooth coordination between employees and HR leadership.
Key Responsibilities
Recruitment & Hiring Administration
- Review incoming resumes and organize candidate records.
- Upload candidate and employee information into the HRIS system (Gusto).
- Coordinate and process E-Verify verification for new hires.
- Conduct reference checks for selected candidates.
Maintain organized documentation related to recruitment and hiring.
Employee Records & Documentation
- Maintain and update employee files and HR documentation.
- Upload and store HR-related documents in internal systems.
- Ensure employee records remain accurate and compliant with company policies.
Payroll & Time Management Support
- Collect and manage employee timesheets.
- Coordinate with payroll/HR leadership to ensure accurate records.
Employee Engagement & Support
- Coordinate employee birthday cards and recognition activities.
- Serve as a point of contact for employees for HR-related questions and administrative support.
Administrative & Office Support
- Provide general HR administrative support to the HR team.
- Assist with internal communications and documentation updates.
- Provide daily reception coverage from 5:00 PM – 6:00 PM, including answering phones, greeting visitors, and assisting with general front desk operations. Please note that more hours or full days of reception coverage may be required as needed.
Qualifications
Required
- Bachelor’s degree.
- 1+ years of relevant work experience, preferably in a mid-sized (200+ employees) organization.
- Strong organizational and documentation skills.
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Preferable
- Experience with Gusto or similar HR/payroll systems.
- Familiarity with E-Verify processes.
- Experience supporting HR operations or recruiting administration.
- Bilingual in Spanish.

Salary: $55-60k
This is a full-time position with a 44-hour workweek, working Monday through Friday from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM.
This is a 100% onsite role; remote or hybrid work is not available.
The salary will vary based on experience.
