To support the Human Resources team we have an exciting opportunity for a HR Administrator Maternity Cover

The HR Administrator provides HR assistance to the Michael Kors Distribution Center in Venlo. This role will involve a large amount of administration for personnel related matters such as payroll preparations, new hires, on-boarding, amendments of contracts, illness registration, keeping employee files and HR system up to date and exit procedures.

Job Responsibilities

  • The HR administration process such as preparing employee contracts, letters, statements, personnel files maintenance, sick leave administration and keeping track of attendance and filling personal paperwork for auditing purposes
  • Ensuring all starter and leaver paperwork are processed in a timely manner as well as tracking of probation period and contract prolongation
  • Managing the monthly payroll preparation for the region in cooperation with the DC Operations Team and the MK payroll team in Switzerland
  • Maintaining HRIS (Workday) and other HR systems
  • Preparing the monthly and annual regional reports with all employee data for the DC
  • Supporting Operations Management with Organization of newcomer’s onboarding
  • Supporting the day-to-day operations of the HR office and support in local projects e.g. recruitment, compensation & benefits, meetings etc.

Job Requirements

  • Associate/ Bachelor degree or equivalent, alternatively higher secondary education followed by vocational HR training
  • A minimum of 2 years of HR administrational experience
  • Knowledge of labor law, social security and regulations for the Netherlands
  • Experienced in working for an international company, but also in an DC or production environment
  • Excellent administrative, communication and organization skills
  • Dutch and English fluently, both written and spoken
  • Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
  • Knowledge of Workday is a plus
