Enable a culture of high performance

  • Drive a high-performance culture on the shopfloor (incl. operators) anchored in clear expectations, accountability, and consistency
  • Reinforce leadership behaviours and ways of working through everyday interactions with employees and contract workforce

Employee Relations & Grievances

  • Act as the first point of contact for operators and shopfloor employee
  • Handle grievances in a timely and fair manner, ensuring proper documentation
  • Support investigations and disciplinary processes where required
  • Maintain a positive and compliant industrial relations environment

Statutory Compliance & Governance

  • Work closely with external compliance vendor to ensure full compliance with all applicable labour laws in Karnataka (Factories Act, CLRA, Shops & Establishment, PF, ESI, Bonus, Gratuity, etc.)
  • Ensure the compliance vendor maintains all statutory registers, records, and documentation as per legal requirements
  • Drive periodic compliance audits and closure of observations along with vendor and external contractor

Contract Workforce Management

  • Understand the shift manning indents and proactively engage the manpower contractor for the deployment of right resources
  • Monitor contractor performance and conducts periodic reviews

Facilities Management

Collaborate with service providers to ensure adequate and timely availability of services for employees and contractors

Skills Required

  • Knowledge of Karnataka labour laws (Factories Act, CLRA, Shops & Establishment, PF, ESI, Bonus, Gratuity)
  • Experience managing employee relations, handling grievances, investigations and disciplinary processes
  • Experience working with external compliance vendors and maintaining statutory registers and documentation
