Manufacturing position with the emphasis on hydraulic power unit assemblies in the Vandalia facility. Assemble product according to information provided by project manager. This is a full-time position, Flexible hours with core hours of M – F, 8:00 am to 2:00 pm.
- Build quality hydraulic power units to drawing specifications utilizing basic hydraulic schematics, basic electrical, motor control circuitry, basic electro-hydraulics, and tube bending, painting, grinding, welding, plumbing, and forklifts.
- Responsible for completing unit testing and preparation for shipment.
- Verify all bills of material (BOMs) are correct and that the job is complete before unit ships.
- Make sure that any changes to a job are documented on the job deviation form.
- Track and turn in labor hours daily.
- Other duties as assigned.
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Fabrication and circuitry experience preferred
- Must be able to handle products (inventory) up to 100 pounds.
- Must be self-motivated and committed to quality work, while maintaining a clean, safe, working environment.
- Must have own personal tools to use.
- Must get at least a 70% on the Mechanical aptitude test.
