What you’ll do:
- Responsible for working with / or without Sales early in the process to
- articulate the overall value of HPE GreenLake for Private Cloud Enterprise (PCE)
- technically qualify if the opportunity is well suited for a PCE solution.
- Advise Sales on the recommended technical approach and solution.
- Responsible for architecture of end-to-end Hybrid Cloud solution with deep technical expertise in all aspects of HPE GreenLake hybrid cloud solutions including PCE. Drives architecture of solutions to ensure customers hybrid cloud business and technical requirements are met.
- In a complex Hybrid Cloud deal, Hybrid Cloud SA will be responsible for the end-to-end technical solution & customizations orchestrating other SAs, TAs and including Digital Presales as well as Product Management.
Technical responsibilities:
- Architects & design Hybrid Cloud Solutions that deliver against customers transformation requirements and business challenges.
- Deep Technical knowledge on key HPE offerings, especially HPE GreenLake for Private Cloud Enterprise, applicability & customization options.
- Deep expertise around Hybrid Cloud enabling technologies (virtualization, Automation, Security, Networking, APIs, BM, Containers, multi/hybrid-cloud management platforms & technologies, Infrastructure-as-code, cloud-native application development/deployment processes and best practices) and use cases. Knowledgeable of prevalent Proprietary & OpenSource technologies used in hybrid Cloud.
- Deep expertise around public cloud technologies/offerings
- Excels in delivering Demos and Proof of Concept on solutions as well as clearly articulating the value proposition aligned to customer use case.
Proposal development:
- Translate customer business and functional objectives to technical solution requirements.
- Shape/customize solution across the entire company portfolio (products, services, solutions) with necessary third-party components and offered as either CAPEX or HPE GreenLake Flex Solutions, SaaS, and IaaS. Close alignment with product management.
- Works with Sales to articulate technical value, present solutions, and overcome customer objections.
- Ensure smooth knowledge transfer and hand-over to the delivery team.
- Sizing, configuration, and pricing of a PCE solution, using sizing best practices and the appropriate HPE tooling (SSET, OCA, etc.)
What you need to bring:
- You have at least a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent.
- Commercial or experience with pricing and writing a services statement of work
- You have significant experience in a similar role, where you provided both solution, technical and commercial leadership in the delivery of solutions.
- You are good at partnering, innovating, and making things happen―you are aligned to our core values
- You are a professional with strong business acumen and general management guidance abilities
- You can build relationships with C-level executives in client organizations
- You have experience preparing RFP/Tender response documents like compliance to the RFP, bill of materials, commercial/pricing, and solution documents to drive a successful response.
