Job Description

Oaks Hotels, Resorts and Suites is excited to expand its housekeeping team and is now hiring for several full-time positions!

We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Houseman to join our team. As a Houseman, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness, organization, and smooth functioning of the property.

About the Role:

• Support housekeeping teams, assist with the management of supplies and equipment.
• Ensure a welcoming and safe environment for guests and residents.
• Monitor inventory levels of housekeeping supplies and report any shortages to the supervisor. Assist with receiving and organizing deliveries of supplies.
• Build strong, professional relationships with fellow staff members, guests, and contractor personnel to support a positive and productive work environment.
• Assist with general cleaning duties, including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and trash removal. Ensure cleanliness and orderliness in common areas, hallways, and restrooms.

Hourly Pay Rates (excluding super): 

Monday - Friday: $24.19 per hour 

Saturday: $30.13 per hour 

Sunday: $36.15 per hour

Qualifications

• Physical fitness and stamina, with the ability to handle repetitive tasks such as bending, lifting, and standing for extended periods
• Excellent communication skills to interact professionally with guests, team members, and contractors
• Positive attitude, team spirit, and a strong work ethic
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and public holidays as required
