Holiday Inn Hotel & Conference Center – Valdosta, GA
Holiday Inn Hotel & Conference Center is seeking a dependable and service-oriented Houseman / Shuttle Driver to join our team. This position is primarily an overnight shift and plays an important role in ensuring our guests receive exceptional service while maintaining the cleanliness and appearance of the hotel.
The ideal candidate will have a positive attitude, strong customer service skills, and the ability to work independently during overnight hours.
Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesShuttle Driver Duties- Safely transport hotel guests to and from approved destinations using the hotel shuttle.
- Provide friendly and professional customer service to all guests.
- Assist guests with luggage as needed.
- Maintain the cleanliness and appearance of the hotel shuttle.
- Conduct routine vehicle inspections and promptly report maintenance concerns.
- Follow all traffic laws and company safety procedures.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of public areas, including the lobby, hallways, meeting spaces, restrooms, and exterior entrances.
- Assist housekeeping staff with linen delivery, trash removal, and supply replenishment.
- Set up and break down meeting rooms and conference spaces as directed.
- Respond promptly to guest requests and service calls.
- Perform light maintenance and general hotel support duties as assigned.
- Help ensure the property maintains brand standards and a welcoming appearance at all times.
- Valid driver's license required.
- Clean driving record required.
- Must be eligible to drive company vehicles under the hotel's insurance guidelines.
- Previous hotel, hospitality, or customer service experience preferred but not required.
- Ability to work overnight shifts, including weekends and holidays.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and remain active throughout the shift.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Dependable attendance and punctuality are essential.
