The House-of-Worship Armed Security Agent is responsible for ensuring the safety and well-being of all within the religious premises. This role involves regular patrols, managing security checkpoints during high-traffic events, responding to emergencies, and offering assistance to visitors. The agent must exhibit both firm security expertise and a deep sensitivity to the unique environment of a house-of-worship.
POSITION SUMMARY
SCHEDULE: Saturdays from 8:30am to 2:30pm
Requirements
- Must be 23 years of age or older.
- Previous security-related work experience.
- Working knowledge of basic security techniques.
- Previous Military, Law Enforcement, and Government Agency experience is an advantage.
- High school diploma or equivalent (Bachelor's Degree from an accredited University is a plus (not mandatory).
- Authorized to work in the United States
- Valid Class D License
- Valid Class G License
- Valid Class W License (an advantage).
- Must be able to pass a criminal/background check and must be able to pass a drug test spontaneously while employed.
- A minimum of CPR/First Aid/AED for all ages is required.
- Possess a valid and current driver’s license.
- Strong command of the English language (Others are an advantage).
- High Self-Confidence balanced with a reasonable amount of humility, strong leadership, and interpersonal relationship skills, very proactive, and outstanding attention to detail.
- Comfortable kneeling, carrying, bending, walking, and standing for extended periods.
- Ability to perform continuous physical exertion as needed.
- Successfully completed Pulmus7 Basic Training’.
