A Brief Overview
Accountable for promoting a welcoming and reassuring environment, at the Walsh Family Village, for all visitors.
What you will do
- Maintains a clean and neat environment in working area. Areas may include, but not be limited to; guest rooms, living rooms, bathrooms, kitchen areas, and general public areas.
- Participates in all cleaning activities as assigned. Activities may include, but not be limited to; dusting, washing, drying, mopping, vacuuming, moving furniture, and emptying the trash.
- Keeps assigned area fully stocked with supplies such as paper towels, toilet paper, etc.
- Handle guest reservations including registration and orientation of guests to facility. Assist guests in the check-out process; includes accepting, documenting, and submitting payment from guests. Interact with guests within established professional boundaries.
- Identify special needs of guests and directs those needs to appropriate contacts within the organization.
- Manage referrals and waiting list to get into the WFV.
- Accept and document donations following approved process.
- Enforce house policies as necessary.
- Assist with clerical support tasks, answer phones, and process billing for Medicaid patients.
- Demonstrate work practices consistent with Avera McKennan Hospital and department specific safety, security and infection control policies.
