Join Amcor as an Hourly Operations Partner with primary responsibilities
in Production Planning and play a critical role in supporting efficient manufacturing operations. In this position, you will plan production orders, coordinate raw materials, and help ensure customer delivery commitments are met while supporting inventory, cost, and operational objectives.
This is an on-site, team-based position intended for candidates with prior experience in manufacturing operations, materials planning, or production scheduling.
Schedule:
Monday – Friday (6:00a-3:00p)
(On-site, plant-based role)

Starting pay: $29.12/hour, increasing to $34.18/hour after probationary period
Overtime: 1.5× pay for hours over 40 per week

Act as a safety leader, placing safety first in all planning and coordination activities
Plan and manage production orders to support customer delivery requirements and plant schedules
Create, maintain, and monitor purchase orders for raw materials, including films and resins
Maintain and update planning data, messages, and transactions in SAP
Monitor raw material availability and inventory levels, ensuring FIFO usage and proper material disposition
Prepare and distribute inventory, planning, and KPI reports for plant leadership
Coordinate raw material transfers between plant operations as needed
Partner closely with Production, Warehouse, Procurement, and Customer Service teams
Assist with resolving material availability, inventory location, and scheduling issues
Manage raw material claims, including documentation and follow-up
Participate in production meetings and provide material and planning updates
Support WCOM and continuous improvement initiatives focused on cost, efficiency, and waste reduction
Act as a backup for planning or scheduling responsibilities as business needs require
Prior experience in manufacturing operations, materials planning, production scheduling, or inventory management
Working knowledge of purchasing and inventory control processes
Experience working with ERP systems (SAP preferred)
Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills
Effective communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
